Steffen Grimm
Originally from Germany, Steffen spent 20 years competing in off-road racing events around the globe – driving Mercedes-Benz off road vehicles for some of the biggest names in off-road racing performance technology. After retirement from racing, he set off to pursue his passion for automobiles — European automobiles specifically. Steffen and his family moved to the United States where he noticed an opportunity to begin brokering collector cars. Over the next few years, Steffen realized that there might be a market for Mercedes-Benz conversions – specifically the “Pagoda” cars, the 230, 250 and 280 SL models (113 chassis) from the mid 1960s to early 1970s and embarked on the first conversion – a 1968 230 SL with a 4.3L V-8 engine, 4 speed automatic transmission and all of the creature comforts one would expect in a modern day luxury roadster. Today, his dream lives on as we transform Mercedes-Benz vehicles for our customers into true modern masterpieces – designed for performance and style.
